Make sure you always get your half!!

I recently read this article about a couple in cambodia who were ending their 18 year marriage. As part of the divorse agreement, they decided to cut their 20-by-24 1/2 foot house in half. So, the husband came with some of his family and cut it in half and walked away with his half in pieces, leaving her half still standing.

So, lesson to us all...make sure you always get an equal share of your half!!!

LDS Prophets warn us of the dangers facing America

First off I want to say that I am not one to focus too much on the negative things in life. I do not like to create panic or worry in others and this is not my intention in posting this clip. I was just poking around youtube last tonight and found this. I found it interesting and important enough to share. We are all aware of the troubles facing us today and with it comes my growing concern. As a family, we have tried to prepare ourselves for whatever may lie ahead. We have been making a strong effort to get our food storage in order. We are trying to prepare ourselves and our household for whatever may come our way. We have been told for over 40 years to get prepared for the approaching storm. I do not feel that people need to be filled with fear, but I do think it is important to be prepared. I hope you find this as insightful as I did.

See... I can pray for a car

Every morning I turn the TV in my bedroom on for the kids to watch a quick cartoon while I get myself and the baby ready for the day. When I turned it on this morning, I was greeted by a female preacher on some Christian Worship channel. This was not the last program I had watched the night before, I assure you... it must have been some early morning sermon. Anyway... the lady was talking about prayer and if we pray hard enough for something we will be blessed enough to receive it. I believe this to a degree, but what was odd here was that she was pertaining this to cars...

she says..
"I have some wonderful letters here from faithful people who had wonderful proof that they get what they pray for.
So and So writes... (I do not remember the name)
"I was in need of a car. My old one was just not working anymore and I needed a way to work. So, I prayed for a car and I was blessed with a car. In fact, the best car I have ever had."
So lets all pray for cars. If you need a car, let us pray for you so you can get that car. Get onto our web site and tell us if you need a car. In fact, tell us what kind of car you want even. We can all pray for you to get your car."

So, you see... if I pray then I will get that new SUV I have been wanting. All I have to do is tell this lady and I will get my car.

It's tough to be three

Paige is definitely starting to show signs of being smack in the middle of the "terrible three's!!" This little girl has sass and ATTITUDE!! You know it is bad when she tilts her head to the side while shacking her finger at you and tells you what she is and is not going to do. She definitely thinks she is in charge.

A few days ago she was asked over and over again to clean up a mess she made. After repeatly asking, Neil put her in her room for a "time out." This is what we found when we came back to check on her a few minutes later.

She had fallen asleep under the babies crib. Yes, I left her there. She needed that nap!!

It has been too long since my last post... I never take a week!! I guess that means that nothing much is happening around here.

We have had a move out at one of our duplex's and yes... they left us with a mess to clean up!! That is what has been taking up all of our time. We have gotten another tenant lined up but it has taken us a while to get it "rent ready."

Also, we sold our long time loved vechile. We had our explorer for 7 years and was a great vechile for us. It will be missed... Neils brother Jared bought it from us. I know that it will be well taken care of and loved. :) SO for now, I am driving the latest van we have bought. I am trying to talk Neil into a new vechile for me and am not having much luck.

So... that is about it... I know very boring
