There are those moments in your life when you ask yourself..." Am I really that old?"
Well, this is one of them. Tomorrow Jacob starts Kindergarten. KINDERGARTEN!! Am I really that old? Paige is also starting Preschool two days a week, leaving me at home with my newborn. Yes, I planned it this way.
When I had Paige, Jacob started his first year of preschool just weeks later. It is so nice for me to be able to adjust to one at a time. Now, I am sending my oldest to Kindergarten, the next to preschool!! I have reached that next era in my life. Things will never be the same. Now, I have to plan vacations around the school schedule just like everyone else.
Jacob has an open house later today where he gets to meet his teacher. I hope this helps him go tomorrow morning. My fear is that I am going to have to deal with a crying child who will not go into class tomorrow morning at 9:00 am. I really hope that is not me. I hope he runs right in and tells me to come back later. POSITIVE THINKING!!! POSITIVE THINKING!!

I am still alive... bearly though
I know it has been forever since my last post. That is because when I am not feeding a baby, changing a baby or referring between two other children, I am sleeping.
MY HATS OFF TO THOSE WHO HAVE THREE OR MORE KIDS!! I truly admire you!! Everyone has always said that going from two to three was the hardest. I believe them!! Yes, one was hard...two was a little harder, but three!! We are outnumbered!! Someone always has a need. Someone always has a compliant. Someone is always hungry or needs a nap. This is my life now. I love it and would not change it, but it is hard and I am tired!!
So, for this reason, I have been bad about posting. Life is returning to normal. Well, as normal as it can be. I am getting the hang of a newborn again. Neil was able to take almost two weeks off of work. He returned yesterday forcing me to get into normal life. Although I was anxious to get life back to normal, I was terrified to do this on my own.
I had to take the kids to two doctors appointments yesterday. Jacob and Paige were in need of getting their shots up to date so they could go to school. Paige only had to have one shot, but poor poor Jacob had to have FIVE!! I was anxious over having to take three kids to the doctors office by MYSELF and wrestle with two kids while they are being poked!! Fortunately Neil was off of work in time to help me hold them down.

YES, I AM WRITING THIS FROM THE HOSPITAL!!!
I will never doubt Castol Oil again!! I told you in my last post that I was desperate and I would try anything. So, anything I did. That stuff is nasty, gross, and still the thought of it makes me want to throw up. I took it with Paige and it did not work, but I did not care... like I said, I was desperate!! I put some in scrambled eggs this time... so it was not too bad but the thought of it still makes me want to throw up.
I took it at 5:00 pm and went to bed frustrated at 10:00 that nothing was happening. It was then that I realized I was having really bad cramps. They were not what I thought labor pains felt like, so I decided to call my sister-in-law who is a labor & delivery nurse at the hospital I was going to deliver at. She said it sounded like prelabor and to watch it for a few hours and call her back. Finally at 2:00 am, I decided that I was going to chance being turned away at the hospital and go in to be monitored. After being hooked up to a machine for an hour, they told me I was in active labor and admitted me. I WAS SO RELIEVED!! Finally, this baby was going to be coming!! Things progressed really quickly from there. My water was broke at 7:30 and with 3 quick pushes, she arrived at 9:50 wednesday morning.
Things went really really well! She is a healthy beautiful baby girl. She was 7 pounds 4 ounces and 19 1/2" long. I was really thinking I was going to have a 8+ pounder. The other shocker is that she has alot of BROWN hair. I thought I only had blondies. She is a also a sweet baby. Really easy, peaceful and happy.
So we have officially named her Kallie May Andersen. Both Paige and Kallie have variations of my first name as their middle name. Paige is Mya, and Kallie is May. I joke that this will have to be my last girl because the only thing left would be Yam.
I go home tommorrow to start my life with three children. Am I ready for this? I guess we will see. My kids already love her. Jacob is a very proud big brother!! He loves to help and hold her and will kiss her forhead whenever he can.

I had a Dr. Appointment today. NOT GOOD NEWS!! Last week I was not even to a 1!! NOT EVEN A 1! Well, I did alot off "activities" this week that I thought would help with delivery along... and today I found out that none of it helped. YES, I AM STILL A 1! What is up with this?
Baby #3, my other two were early. I thought for sure, this baby would be early. NOPE!! I am 39 1/2 weeks and this girls is showing no signs of coming out!! I am so frustrated! I can not even be induced because she is still to far up and I have not progressed enough to qualify for induction! In fact, the Dr. told me that he thought I was going to make it to my next weeks appointment. Does he realize that I will be overdue at this point? OVERDUE!!!
ANY SUGGESTIONS? I am open to anything at this point!!
I spent about an hour last night riding on my parents ATV's, I have been on walks, lunges, squats, skipping...now I know that none of these are pretty pictures. Any other suggestions?
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

Yes, I am still here
No, I have not updated my blog because I am in the hospital or recovering. I am still here and still pregnant. TRYING to take all the advice I am given.... "enjoy this last week, you will miss being pregnant once that baby is here", "enjoy all the sleep you can get now", "remember these times for you are going to miss it when it is over." Well, I am sorry, but right now all I can think about is GET THIS BABY OUT!!!
I think I am bruised from the inside from all the kicks and punches I am receiving. I do not remember my other children being this strong.
I sure hope this is the last Sunday I have to go to church being pregnant!!
I really think I am going to be pregnant forever!!
Did you know there was some lady in a third world country who's baby died inside of her and actually fossilized there. She was pregnant for 50 years!! See, it really can happen. I might be pregnant forever!!!
